Part 1: Open your campusGenAI platform
- Open the campusGenAI Platform for your institution.
- Log in using Single Sign-On (SSO). If it's our first time logging in, a pop-up window appears with some information.
- Read through the terms.
- Click I Accept to continue.
Part 2: Try some prompts
Try out some prompts! Your default model is OpenAI, but you can change your model. For instructions on how to do so, jump to Switch AI Models.
Step-by-step:
- To use the default settings with your prompts, type a prompt into the Message field.
- To submit the prompt, press the Return or Enter key. The AI model responses to your prompt.
- To modify, refine, or further interact with your prompt, use the icons that follow each message.
- Read aloud—A computer-generated voice reads the message out load.
- Edit—Edit your prompts of the responses of the various models.
- Save & Submit—Save your edit and resubmit the information to get a new response.
- Save—Save your edit without regenerating the response.
- Cancel—Cancel changes and close the edit window.
- Copy to clipboard—Copy the selected message to your clipboard to be pasted elsewhere.
- Regenerate—Make the model create a new response without any additional instructions or content.
- Fork—Create a new conversation from the selected message. This is useful for refocusing the conversation, exploring different scenarios, maintaining context, and more.
